Flex Sensor 4.5″ Bend Sensor for Hand Gesture Recognition is a simple resistive sensor which is 4.5″ in length yet a powerful sensor to sense the flexibility. As the sensor is flexed, the resistance across the sensor increases. The resistance of the flex sensor changes when the metal pads are on the outside of the bend (the text on the inside of bend). The connector is 0.1″ spaced and bread board friendly. Check the datasheet for full specifications.
